   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are seeking an experienced QA/Tester to assist our client in testing   
   their corporate insurance and financial applications.  Candidate will: 1)   
   perform functional, integration and systems testing and document & discuss   
   defects/findings with developers, analysts and clients; 2) assist in   
   creating estimates & status reports, and planning of the test approach; 3)   
   participate in quality assurance reviews of analysis and design documents;   
   4) develop test cases based on the test strategy and risk analysis; and 5)   
   create/extract/modify data to populate test environments and maintain test   
   environments.   
      
   Required skills/qualifications:   
      
   To be considered, candidates must have 5+ years of quality assurance /   
   testing new software or software releases for large, enterprise companies.   
   Individual will have strong oral and written skills, and possess in depth   
   knowledge of testing methodology and techniques as well as an understanding   
   of the SDLC.  This role requires a solid understanding of insurance   
   management systems and database structure (MS SQL Server, DB2, etc.).  Any   
   experience testing data warehouse applications or ERPs (PeopleSoft, SAP,   
   etc.) related to insurance/financial applications would be an asset.
