   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are seeking a Provoda Implementation consultant to assist with the   
   replacement of our client's current wireless barcode scanners that are used   
   to count and manage inventory. The Advanced Retail Technologies (ART)   
   Provoda handheld client has been successfully configured to communicate with   
   our client's customized JDA® WinDSS servers. Our aim is to prepare for the   
   deployment to approx 85 retail locations using the Motorola Mobility   
   Services Platform (MSP) without visiting each location. Our client uses   
   VMware 3.5 ESX infrastructure to provide Windows and Linux server   
   virtualization. A virtual Windows 2003-based Motorola Mobility Services   
   Platform (MSP), Windows Motorola's RF Management Software (RFMS) and MS/SQL   
   2005 servers have been created and are available for installation of the   
   required software. Secure remote server access will be provided if required.   
      
   Required skills/qualifications:   
      
   To be considered, candidate must have a relevant experience successfully   
   deploying the same or similar devices, network infrastructure, access   
   points, server software, client software and device management software as   
   well as configuring/deploying secure wireless devices for an enterprise   
   environment.  Individual will have expertise in the following areas:   
   Motorola Symbol MC3090 Barcode Scanners; Motorola Symbol Windows CE and App   
   Centre; Motorola WS2000 wireless and access points; WPA or WPA2 wireless   
   encryption; Knowledge of JDA Point of Sale; Motorola Mobility Services   
   Platform (MSP) Windows Server installation and operation; Windows Motorola's   
   RF Management Software (RFMS) Configuration of end-to-end solutions   
   utilizing the above technologies; and leading practices in device deployment   
   and management. Desirable: project management experience and experience with   
   Advanced Retail Technologies (ART) Provoda handheld client.
