   Quality Control Manager to $90 K plus bonus, Toronto   
      
   We are currently searching for a QC manager, preferably with a degree in   
   analytical chemistry or related major, to manage the lab functions and   
   ensure GMP compliance. You will also manage efficiency improvements so   
   that all testing performed meets Regulatory requirements.   
      
   Main Responsibilities:   
      
   ·	Schedule Lab workload to perform all operations within required lead times   
   ·	Accommodate operational priorities   
   ·	Provide required analytical support for validation and new initiatives   
   ·	Perform out-of-spec investigations to ensure root cause is established   
   ·	Create, review and write procedures   
   ·	Maintain an analyst training program   
   ·	Organize lab work teams to accommodate testing requirements   
   ·	Develop and implement qualification and maintenance programs for   
   instruments   
   ·	Review current systems and procedures and implement changes when   
   appropriate to improve accuracy and throughput   
   ·	Review potential for new technology to improve accuracy and throughput   
   ·	Maintain QC in an audit ready state by performing routine inspections   
   of lab systems   
   ·	Oversee employee related administrative tasks   
   ·	Overall operation of the lab   
      
   Background and Experience required:   
      
   ·	Minimum BSc. in Analytical Chemistry or Microbiology   
   ·	Five years experience at the Supervisory/ Managerial level in a   
   pharmaceutical Quality Control lab   
   ·	Full knowledge of cGMP, GLP, FDA, TPP, HPLC, wet chemistry and   
   microbiology functions   
   ·	Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards   
   ·	Prefer experience with cream/ointment manufacturer
