   QUALITY CONTROL DIRECTOR – TO $120k PLUS 15% BONUS – GTA   
      
   We are currently searching for a QC Director to lead a QA/QC department   
   in Pharma production.  The main task is to ensure that all products are   
   manufactured, inspected, tested and packaged according to GMP and SOP   
   requirements.  This is done on a day-by-day basis by monitoring   
   compounding and packaging, documentation review, managing workloads,   
   in-house training, SOP writing and review, environmental monitoring and   
   other activities related to producing a quality product.   
      
   The incumbent will: ensure that all materials are tested according to   
   current standards,  ensure that QC is available to assist Compounding   
   and Packaging at all times, ensure that sampling and disposition of all   
   received and manufactured items occurs as efficiently as possible,   
   develop QC personnel, perform lab and QA Investigations as required as   
   well as dispositioning of Raw Materials products.   
      
   You must have: complete knowledge of pharmaceutical operations and   
   pharmaceutical standards, complete knowledge of GMP, GLP, FDA, TPD, good   
   organizational skills and multi-tasking ability, excellent written and   
   verbal skills, excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of  validation;   
   MRP II (BPCS preferred), knowledge of applicable software,   
   Minimum of B.Sc. Chemistry or other associated field, Multi-year   
   experience (at least five) at the supervisory/management level in the   
   pharmaceutical industry, experience with MRPII, either during   
   implementation or as an experienced user, prefer experience with   
   cream/ointment manufacturer.   
      
   Salary range is $110K-$115K plus bonus.   
   Location is Toronto.
