   VICE PRESIDENT OF QUALITY – to $175K plus 20% Bonus - GTA   
      
   We are looking for a Senior Pharma Production leader to develop, lead   
   and execute a Quality Strategy, ensuring that it is appropriate and   
   effective in meeting business requirements.  The incumbent will ensure   
   that the Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Quality Control and   
   Validation departments effectively perform their functions in support of   
     regulatory, production and sale requirements .   
      
   As VP – Quality, you will: Oversee the development and implement   
   standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating   
   the quality and reliability of all products. Staff departments   
   appropriately.  Prepare the organization and oversee all audits and   
   inspections by regulatory agencies and customers.  Work across all   
   disciplines (eg. Manufacturing, distribution, regulatory affairs, R&D,   
   etc.) to ensure that the Company maintains a state of readiness for   
   inspection by regulatory agencies. Budget responsibility for the   
   Quality group, including purchasing of new equipment.  Develop and   
   review master batch documents, SOPs, C of A’s to ensure that the company   
   is operating according to cGMPs.  Ensure management of stability program   
   and results. Lead, manage and ensure proper training to any relevant   
   change management programs throughout the Company.   
      
   You must have:  Strong leadership and management skills, complete   
   knowledge of cGMP, FDA,  HPFBI , ICH requirements, knowledge of   
   pharmaceutical standards, validation; MRP II (BPCS preferred), knowledge   
   of applicable software, excellent detail orientation, organizational   
   skills and multi-tasking ability, excellent written and verbal skills,   
   excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to   
   effectively participate on multi-disciplinary teams.   
      
   Your background includes: M.Sc preferred with a Minimum of B.Sc.   
   Chemistry or other related field, multi-year experience (at least ten)   
   at the professional/management level leading a Quality function, 5 - 10+   
   years in the pharmaceutical industry, experience in leading   
   organizational change efforts, experience implementing QA systems in a   
   GMP environment, and direct experience with regulatory agency inspections.   
      
      
   Salary range is $165 - $175K plus 20% bonus.   
   This position is based in the GTA.
