   Medical Advisor for Biopharmaceutical Industry in Montreal – to $130K   
   plus bonus   
      
   We are currently seeking a Medical Advisor in Montreal for Virology to   
   act as the medical and scientific expert in specific infectious diseases.   
      
   The position will require you to lead a team of Medical Liaisons who   
   will be responsible for developing relationships with Key Opinion   
   Leaders and Principal Investigators in major Virology centers. You will   
   also provide assistance to the Medical Affairs department and work   
   closely with the Continuing Medical Education staff as well as advisory   
   boards. Additional responsibilities include the ongoing review of   
   scientific literature and developing business cases to support   
   Investigator initiated Phase 111 and 1V drug trials. You will also work   
   with disease state groups to educate and involve them in your patient   
   focused campaigns.   
      
   As a Medical Advisor you will work to identify, develop and manage   
   emerging untapped scientific opportunities. As well, you will   
   effectively interface with internal Scientific Research and Therapeutic   
   teams to ensure optimal implementation of regional initiatives.   
      
   Part of this role effectively interfaces with market access and   
   strategic partnerships to provide regional implementation support that   
   enables resolution of market access and funding issues based on   
   scientific data.  As an advocate, the Medical Advisor will build and   
   maintain advanced disease, product and therapy knowledge while meeting   
   with Key Specialists to discuss studies, research science and innovative   
   development.  You will represent scientific leadership among internal   
   and external customers and represent the company at worldwide congresses   
      
   Preference will be given to those with a University degree in Pharmacy   
   or to a licensed pharmacist or Phm.D. or PhD or MD with a background in   
   Virology/Immunology/Vaccines.   
      
   Managerial experience and leading people in a pharmaceutical or biotech   
   company is an asset. Salary is to $130K plus bonus.   
      
   Willingness to travel - up to 20%.
