   Medical Science Liaison Manager for Pharmaceutical Company in Toronto   
   $105 - $120K plus bonus and car   
      
   We are currently seeking a Medical Liaison in Quebec in Oncology.   
      
   This position provides scientific information to Key Opinion Leaders and   
   medical doctors. You will also provide assistance to the Medical Affairs   
   department and work closely with the Continuing Medical Education staff   
   as well as advisory boards. Additional responsibilities include the   
   ongoing review of scientific literature and developing business cases to   
   support Investigator initiated drug trials. You will also work with   
   disease state groups to educate and involve them in your patient focused   
   campaigns.   
      
   As a Medical Liaison Manager you will work to identify, develop and   
   manage emerging untapped scientific opportunities for some blockbuster   
   products. As well, you will effectively interface with internal   
   Scientific Research and Therapeutic teams to ensure optimal   
   implementation of regional initiatives. We are looking for strong   
   knowledge of patient management and clinical pharmacology.   
      
   Part of this role effectively interfaces with market access and   
   strategic partnerships to provide regional implementation support that   
   enables resolution of market access and funding issues based on   
   scientific data.  As an advocate, the Medical Liaison will build and   
   maintain advanced disease, product and therapy knowledge while meeting   
   with Key Specialists to discuss studies, research science and innovative   
   development.  You will represent scientific leadership among internal   
   and external customers.   
      
   This position is particularly interesting because the person will be   
   responsible for a number of Oncology drugs and therapies. We require   
   someone who is very strong in the latest research in Oncology and the   
   latest treatments along with a solid record of interacting with Key   
   Opinion Leaders in the research and business sectors along with at least   
   three years experience in medical research or scientific communications.   
   We prefer someone who has in-depth knowledge of patient management and   
   clinical pharmacology.   
      
   You must have a University degree in Pharmacy or be a PhD or MD with a   
   background in Oncology.   
      
   Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech company is an asset.   
   Salary range is $105-120K.  There is an excellent bonus, company car and   
   full benefits in this permanent position.   
      
   Willingness to travel up: 30% to 40% is required.
