   Health Economics Manager in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries in   
   Toronto-  Salary range is $100K - $125K plus bonus   
      
      
   We are currently seeking a Health Economics / Health Outcomes/ Market   
   Access Manager with experience in Pharmacoeconomic modeling and   
   analysis, to assist in the design and implementation of health economics   
   and drug reimbursement strategies for internal and external   
   stakeholders. You will work in a collaborative role with the team in   
   Pricing and Drug Plan Affairs.   
      
   The main objective for this role is to develop public and private market   
   strategies utilizing private usage data on key products to detect trends   
   and develop business growth and refine all processes within this area of   
   the business. You will identify critical outcomes research needs in   
   order to optimize market access. As well, this position participates in   
   advisory boards, symposia and other regional/national professional   
   meetings where relevant clinical and outcomes research are presented and   
   discussed. You should have a fairly good understanding of the Regulatory   
   environment and the Common Drug Review Committee process.   
      
   You must have a University degree in health economics and a basic life   
   science degree together with practical understanding of economic   
   modeling as it applies to evaluating the cost effectiveness of various   
   drug therapies. This experience coupled with 3-5 years of business or   
   life sciences experience working with the Pharmaceutical or Biotech   
   industries or in the health care sector with any of the various public   
   health agencies or in academia would be an asset.   
      
   Salary is to $100 - $125K plus a bonus. This is a permanent full-time   
   position.
