|    TURMEL: Seek Overturn Quarter Million On    |
|    01 Oct 15 03:00:52    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              TURMEL: Seek Overturn Quarter Million Ontario Convictions!!              JCT: We're thirteen at the Ontario Court of Appeal seeking       to overturn our cannabis convictions on Oct 19 2015. The       Crown agreed I, who had an earlier appeal, would file an       Affidavit of my personal facts but not others who had had       appeals; and Bela Beke, without prior appeal, would file an       affidavit of his personal facts but not the others without       prior appeals. If it works for me and Bela, it works for       everyone. But I want to extended to everyone up front, not       us win and then have to fight again for the others one at a       time. So:              John C. Turmel, B.Eng.,       50 Brant Ave.,       Brantford, N3T 3G7,       Tel/Fax: 519-753-5122,       Cell: 519-717-5198       Email: johnturmel@yahoo.com              Thursday Oct 1 2015              Mr. Nick Devlin       Attorney General Canada       130 King W #3400       Toronto M5X 1K6       Tel: 416-973-0942/3004              Re: M45479 R. v. Turmel, John; M45529 R. v. McCrady, Robert;       M45531 R. v Spottiswood, Michael; M45533 R. v Nielsen, Doug;       M45541 R. v Martin, Real; M45547 R. v Drouin, Pierre.              M45532 R. v Beke, Bela; M45528 R. v Kenny, Carolyn;       M45543 R. v Boudreault, Bernard; M45544 R. v Tremblay, Denis;       M45545 R. v Tinney, James K.; M45546 R. v Misener, Robert;       M45548 R. v Dickinson, Joseph Robert              Mr. Devlin:              I believe Mr. Justice LaForme, in adjourning our motion to       Oct 19 2015, has reduced our documentary workload by       allowing me to file my affidavit evidence representative of       all six Applicants whose appeals on other grounds were       previously dismissed; and Bela Beke to file his       representative all seven of those who have never previously       appealed. But if Smith overtook the others and the law was       invalid for Bela Beke, I'd expect it was invalid for me too.              Since my inevitable goal is to expunge all quarter million       marijuana-only convictions in Ontario, Justice LaForme's       statement that "Smith overtook the other cases" is very       persuasive in convincing others to join us on Oct 19 with       plenty of time for service and filing.              I will deter others from filing given the assurance that any       relief granted our groups of Appellants will be extended to       the other quarter million Ontarians Canadians as well.       Without such assurance, it is in my interest to impress the       courts of the scope of the problem by inviting the quarter       million to join us on Oct 19 to impress the court with the       scope of the problem by an avalanche of paperwork.              Neither of us needs that avalanche but the only thing that       is going to stop others from filing is if I can reassure       them they will benefit of the same relief we may be granted       even if they're not there.                     _______________________________________       John Turmel              JCT: Stay tuned, if I don't have an answer by the weekend,       I'll start organizing their tsunami of paperwork for the       last 2 weeks.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
