|    TURMEL: Art Jackes report on getting pos    |
|    13 Jan 16 14:33:54    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: Art Jackes huhOreally@me.com is one of the Consolidated       26 Appellants in the "Phelan can't play doctor" appeals has       already fought to the Supreme Court of Canada once and this       will be twice no matter who wins. Here is his report on the       hearing:              I spent Monday with my "SAVIOUR", JOHN TURMEL!              JCT: Well, I saved 4,000 from prosecution in 2003 and could       be saving 18,000 from the MMPR so "You're welcome" when I       score the bigger number. Who'd have thought anything could       have beaten 4,000 but the shot now exists! Love the feeling       of the dice in the air with big pay-off.              AJ: I know I said "thank you John", when you dropped me off       in Oakville, on your way home to Brantford, after our "Gold       Star Team" day in court, in Toronto on Monday, January 11,       2016 but it really seems like "thank you" is insufficient!       A SINCERE, GENUINE, "THANK YOU JOHN TURMEL", GOOD SAMARITAN,       ACTIVIST EXTRAORDINAIRE!       What does one say to someone who spends so much time, and       puts in so much effort to assist someone they have only just       met through a phone call?              (I'd helped Gold Star member, Sharon Misener, get her ATP,       as well as a DG, a couple of years before the MMPR. Sharon       went to Ottawa for the protest on April Fool's day/2014       where she met John and Ray Turmel, and others and in the       process became a double Gold Star in 1 day. Sharon passed       on his contact information when she came home and told me       about the adventure and having met everyone along with the       "World's Smartest Man", a Mr. JOHN TURMEL!). SHARON, THANKS       TOO! - for passing John's info along to me!              My DG deserted me - one of the many dreaming, hoping to       become an LP, he needed to retro fit his building to MMPR       standards and growing for the one that had given him the       initial opportunity to improve and perfect his green thumb       was now interfering with the process.              Not able to transfer the grow back to my name, as in the       past, wasn't permitted by Hellth Canada, instead..... they       were generously giving me the opportunity to be supplied by       the new regime of LP's under the MMPR. LP's kind enough to       offer me potential medication for only $6-$15/gram,              JCT: That's what the Crown kept reminding the judges, how       Phelan knew they always had the chance to go buy from the       LPs, several times.              AJ: a real bargain for someone on disability, trying survive       on less than $1100/month out of which comes rent, food,       clothing, transportation and anything else that might be       needed....... Oh, yeah that's right, I still need money for       Meds..... My prescription of 20grams/day from the LP's might       cost as much as $300 EVERY DAY at $15/gram, a taxes?       Delivery?              I WAS SCREWED!!.....so I called JOHN TURMEL and the rest is       history.              I helped run The John Turmel booth for part of the last Hemp       Show - "the Treating Yourself Expo" in Toronto, trying to       get others to join our Gold Star Team in the fight to end       prohibition. As time went by, I gradually learned how one       was to deal with the courts to fight back after much       assistance from John and other Gold Stars like Heidi       Chartrand. THANKS AGAIN TOO, HEIDI!              JCT: Yes, hasn't Halifax Heidi Chartrand been effective.       Doesn't she have a ton of background.              AJ: I had 1 of my appeals go all the way to the Supreme       Court of Canada, but technically it didn't work out, so I       was really pleased to get another chance with John and the       other Gold Star appellants in court in Toronto on Monday.              As I watched JOHN TURMEL, my SAVIOUR, going through his       delivery it gave me a chance to see this man's genius at       work! I was very impressed JOHN! You really did a GREAT       JOB!              JCT: Helps to have great cards. Terry Parker denied his 4th       interim exemption as inappropriate, Ray busted under the       stupid plant limit while under-storage! Robert Left-Out       because Manson took time, Paddie Burrows cut off while       cutting his tumor down, Health Canada cutting off 2,000       Eastern Canadians because Dr. Kammermans had not returned to       his Ontario office to sign but signed in the wrong       provinces, the reason to cut off 2,000 patients!!! Loved       getting that in. And you who can't move because you don't       have standing and Conroy's David Hebert who has standing       won't.              AJ: I couldn't help but keep thinking, how it might have       gone had I been up before the judges trying to defend       myself, instead of John - I know I wouldn't have held a       candle to John's carefully crafted presentation as he       brought each point out, and backed it up with the facts.              JCT: After going through our 20 torts one at a time, the       judges can still determine, after the Crown said there were       more issues in overlap, that no matter how they counted, we       still had 16 issues they had not raised on paper.              AJ: It was an emotional day! I was nervous not knowing what       to expect. I watched the judges closely trying to determine       what was going on in their minds as John spoke. Judge       Gleason was a worry, as she seemed to have a great poker       face not really giving out any indication of what, if       anything was going through her mind. I didn't even think she       was interested in the proceedings, it looked like she was       trying to figure out something serious, how to get her own       Powerball ticket.              The other judges seemed to lighten up a bit, displaying an       almost human-like quality - Judge Pelletier's lip gradually       started to curl up a bit as John delivered a lengthy bit of       data about the wrongs of Hellth Canada, their counsel Jon       Bricker and previous Judge Phelan - you could tell when he       spoke to John clarifying comments that were damaging to the       Crown that he kinda liked what John had to say about the       scoundrels that were screwing us and it seemed as though he       was trying to back up John's valiant attempt to assist the       Gold Star Team. Why, the Judge almost broke out in a huge       smile at one point, touched by John's presentation.              John had gone through a long list of technical data and when       Judge Pelletier first spoke to John, it shocked me! I was       surprised that Pelletier's question to John, actually       indicated to me, he really had followed and comprehended all       the data that had just been covered and this impressed me       very much, I started to think we might have a chance. Even       Judge Stratas, warming up to John, also raised a few points,       each time it seemed, in our favour, clarifying something       that would be damaging for the crown.              JCT: It is a rush, isn't it, when you find out they get what       you're saying. But a bigger rush later when they shove it in       the Crown's face in direct contradiction of what he just       said.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
