|    TURMEL: Crown wants time to withdraw Nad    |

From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              TURMEL: Crown wants time to withdraw Nadir Khalifa's charges              JCT: Nadir Khalifa was arrested and had his exemption and       pot confiscated by the "Deputy Barney Fife" who didn't       believe the expired ATP was still valid, he said. So the       Crown asked Khalifa to prove he was exempted.              I had advised Nadir to shut up about his exemption and just       file the motion to Quash. He could pull out his exemption if       it ever got to trial. But the Crown had already heard about       him having an exemption and thought Nadir would jump at the       chance to run around proving he was exempted to get it over       with.              First, the cop took Nadir's original exemption. So he didn't       have any proof any more anyway. Regardless, he said he just       wanted to have his Quash motion heard. The Crown said they       weren't sure if they were even going to charge him. And so       asked the Court for more time to determine if he was       exempted.              So it was put off until April 15 2016 when the cop is       supposed to come into court and bring the exemption! Funny       thing though, it wasn't listed in the evidence! Hope the cop       didn't destroy evidence he now has to show the court! Har       har har har har har. He wanted to be a Barney, let's hope       we'll get to enjoy a good Fife of a laugh.              So it looks like they're going to be ducking the Quash       motion by withdrawing and returning his pot. But how do they       return his exemption? har har har. and Max and the Montreal       Musketters are going be filing new Allard BENO Quash motions       for the 15th while he's there anyway. Har har har.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
