|    TURMEL: Two more Quash stalls in Ontario    |
|    05 May 16 11:36:47    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: On April 3 2016, in St. Jerome Quebec, Adrien Stuern's       quash motion to a judge of the court, not a JP, got sent to       JP Jean Roy who said he couldn't deal with it, told him to       come back with a lawyer on Aug 11 with another JP!! Har har       har. The Motion says "to a judge," and Quebec Registries       keep sending it to the wrong guy! Is is it pure       incompetence? Or some plan.              Same day in Orillia Ontario, Eric Forde's quash motion to a       judge of the court got the same treatment. Judge Anne Marie       Puusaan said she couldn't do S.601. Eric said she could.       Seems she turned red. The Crown said he hadn't even read it       so she put it off to July 11.              When Eric later called to get the judge's name, he found out       they'd routed it to a J.P. again. So she did have no       jurisdiction but wouldn't send it to a judge who did.       Instead she just booked his Preliminary Inquiry on July 11.       At least that will have a judge of first instance who can't       duck it. Har har har. Or will.              When he gets there, he just says: I'm not preparing to face       my charge until I know there is going to be one. If there       is, I may then hire a lawyer but until I know the indictment       is valid, I'm spending nothing and staying mute.              Then what are they going to do? Insist he spend money before       he finds out if he really has to?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
