|    TURMEL: Exemptee Nadir Khalifa's pot sei    |
|    19 May 16 04:29:09    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              TURMEL: Exemptee Nadir Khalifa's pot seized again.              JCT: Nadir Khalifa recently was busted by an overzealous       Barney Fife and the Crown had to give him back his pot to       avoid the Quash motion.              While Nadir Khalifa was at the Montreal Courthouse       supporting Benoit Perrault's attempt to have his Quash       heard, the Barneys busted him again.              The Court police couldn't contact Health Canada! And since       his exemption was expired, they seized his pot and sent him       on his way. Justice Manson had made no provision for       patients being able to prove their "expired" exemptions were       still valid. He didn't order Health Canada: Send out updated       exemptions before you shut down. Oops. He was so busy       cutting off half the patients to protect the viability of       the MMPR that he didn't have the time to think about how the       other half he left alive could document he'd let them live.              Nadir had an epileptic attack and died. Kidding. But they       held on to his medicine until they decided if they were       going to charge him.              Ray saw Nadir's earlier Crown Attorney and told him to tell       the cops about the last time and how Nadir's exemption was       good. No, he wouldn't get involved and said he'd just wait       until it hit his desk to throw it out.              So he let them send Nadir away without his medicine. Can it       be said the regime is working to protect his access and       supply when patients keep getting rousted for lack of       documentation?              They called later in the day to tell him to come back and       pick up his pot. Hope he doesn't have a seizure on the way.       We'd know what Crown Attorney to blame, won't we?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
