From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              Original story:       https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alt.fan.john-turmel/daySSqwA9kk              JCT: Greg, who lost his exemption because he had to move, a       Manson victim who'll be filing damages claim for the time he       was down, just passed on the message that when he got to the       Rossland Courthouse in BC:              THU JUNE 9 2016              Greg Magnusson:              details include... sitting in court for two hours and       watching... only learning about the list of names after.. haha       I was not on the list. perplexed left the courtroom and went       into a little room.              i gave the my file number to the lawyer and was told to take       the number he gave me to the registry office where the letter       was waiting for me. I did not see a judge or speak. did not       approach the bench              Criminal Registry Rossland Court file # 21390-1 police file #       16-630 our file number 3383288        "The Director of Public Prosecutions hereby directs the        Clerk of the Court to stay proceedings respecting the        above reference matter. A copy of the information is        attached for your reference. Yours truly, Ryan Carrier        Public Prosecution Service of Canada              They only gave me page 2 of 3. did not see a judge was not on       the list...       took me from 9-1130 to figure that out hahaha              Registry office had the paper in a file folder for me       right. the interesting part was all of the staff was different       than before. different prosecutor, different registry clerk,       different baliff       and yeah... did not get to speak at all              a side story.. after not being called for a couple of hours I       left the courtroom and went into one of the adjacent little       rooms... attached to the phone line on the floor is a strange       looking device... sort of like a wiretap bug so I looked at it       and pressed the top of it. Turns out it is a panic button...       police officer storms in and asks if I am allrigh.. smells       weed and gets me to show him the two grams I had on me. I       showed him the licence... he says its expired.. I say yeah,       that is why I am here. after i showed the doctors prescription       he gave back the 2 grams of weed. The license is a useless       piece of paper, but the prescription is taken as valid. Do not       push that button.. haha              The crown gave me nothing. There was no prosecutor for me.       That guy did not show up. I was not on the list. A defence       lawyer said he would see what was up. He took my file number       and gave me an info number 21390-1 to give to the Registry       desk... where none of the staff were to same as before. The       woman opened a file folder and gave me one piece of paper. it       was handed to me by the registry clerk       oh good... more time with the registry clerk... a different       person this time though       printed june 8.. yesterday              i served the quash... and that prosecutor did not show up       today and I was not on the list              The second time I was there I got the registrar to sign the       affidavit of service in the presence of the prosecutor while       he stood there and told me that it would not work./// a.k.a       legal advice? in front of the registrar.... who signed the       affidavit and refused to let me file the same motion that she       had signed              in fact, I asked him if he remembered what day I had seen him       and we both agreed that the day was in fact the day.       the government pamplet on the fax system appears to be a scam.       always busy + you are required to add the correct title page..       which does not appear to be available.. and you need to       provide a $10 fee... I will read about that some more.. but       really... believe in letter mail              first day of court... said nothing, possessing for purposes of       trafficking dropped.              second day of court tried to speak, judge got mad and said       adjourn or ??? I chose adjourn              third day of court... tried to enter the pre-plea motion...       crown did not have an ISP # no pre-plea without a charge              fourth day of court not on the list... found a lawyer gave the       lawyer my file number lawyer gave me an info # took the number       to the registry desk they gave me one piece of paper.       Probation officer looked happy... i told her I would miss our       little chats and she xeroxed the piece of paper.              thanks... they ducked... and you were right, it was fun              you likely already know all of this... but the numbers on       stays in BC are interesting... and there is a 12 month       clause... https://bccla.org/our_work/stays-of-proceedings/              I am flabbergasted by the bureaucratic system. The link I sent       you last night suggests that stays may not be constitutionally       valid but are considered absolute. We definitely scared them.              JCT: Another Crown backs down from the Smith-Allard BENO Quash       motion. 580-plant charge. It's not James Turner's 2,879-plant       withdrawal but it equals Ray Turmel beating his 500-plant       charge.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
