From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: At the Friday April 11 hearing before Justice St-Gelais       in Montreal for Maxime Gauthier, Martin Gendron and Eric       Gravel, the Crown got a thwacking for having sent an email       informing the court that he wasn't coming to the last hearing       on March 31 because he didn't think he had been served right       by a bailiff. The judge had told Max to do it right for all       three of them and be back next week.              I prepared a new Charter Motion but I only used Max as the       Applicant so he only had to serve and file one. But when she       asked if Max had served the 3 motions for the 3 Applicants by       bailiff, Max said no, with Motion copies in hand, he couldn't       afford it and even asked if she could give them their bail       back so they could. No way.              He was going to ask her to order them to accept service in       court when she said to give them to her, "I'm also a bailiff'       and she served the Crowns the new Charter motion right then       and there. No more delays.              All he has to do is fax any new Will-says to both Crown's,       Justice Marc David who's overseeing the case and the clerk.       Ok. Max did it.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
