|    TURMEL: Start Grow on Day 1 after ACMPR     |
|    28 Sep 17 09:52:34    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: So now we know Health Canada changed the expiry date       rules for exemptions which shortens renewals as well as       shortening the original exemption.              But though it is used to hurt the patients, now that we know,       we can turn the tables and use it to our advantage.              Here's the situation:              Someone gets their medical document and sends in his       application the same day. If there's no paperwork glitch,       the exemption will be dated back to the doctor's signing on       Day 1.              He starts his grow op on the Day 1 after he mailing his       application. You have to be able to say "it's on the way."              Before he gets his exemption dating back to Day 1, he's one of       the 1/100 who gets busted.              Before his trial, he gets his exemption showing he was       exempted on the date of the bust! What's the Crown going to       do? His exemption permit proves medical need on Day 1 just as       the doctor proved medical need on Day 1.              So, given they now back-date the exemption to Day 1, I see no       illegality in planting your garden on Day 1 even before the       back-dated paperwork arrives. If it were still like the MMAR       when date of issuance ruled, sure. But date of signature?!!              Even if there were an error that had to be corrected and you       have to refile a second time, eventually, the doctor's letter       will get you exempted back to Day 1 anyway. Can't be stopped.              So if you're going to be exempted to Day 1 when you get it,       just show your application to any cops and claim you're       exempted even if the paperwork hasn't yet caught up. You're       not exempted from the day you receive it in the mail, you're       exempted months before on the day HC says you're exempted, Day       1.              So they tried to screw the patients with long processing       delays as well as shorter exemption periods before renewal by       changing it from Issuance Date to Doctor Sign Date. But we can       turn it to our advantage so people who send it in can just       start growing knowing they'll end up exempted back to Day 1!              So, in changing the date rules to screw the patients, Health       Canada have opened up the option of starting your grow on Day       1, the date your exemption will be started! Har har har har       har har.              So if you sent it in, you know your exemption is on the way       to cover you from Day 1. So what are you waiting for? Har har       har.              Always realize that an eager Barney (Deputy Barney Fife) might       still decide to charge you and destroy your grow but you'll       get your seized pot back and can sue for the damage to the       plants at $1,000/plant.              Har har har har har har. What a great judo move. They came on       offence and end up thrown. Tried to hut hurt us and we can use       it to help us.              So if you do start on Day 1, have a copy of your Application       posted near the door with a copy of a Quash Kit and Charter       Kit too. Just tell the cop you will be exempted back to now       once the bureaucracy catches up. But if he wants to waste       everyone's time and maybe pay for the $1,000 plants, go ahead.              I do not recommend this lightly. Crown could argue I am       counselling to commit a crime. But you know they'll exempt you       back to Day 1 so what crime are you committing in failing to       wait for proof of exemption that happens to be in force since       Day 1.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
