|    TURMEL: Rene Ouellet gets Quash, Trial d    |

From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: After an incredible ride from Provincial Court to       Superior Court back to Provincial Court back to Superior Court       up to Court of Appeal back to Provincial Court back to       Superior Court, Rene Ouellet appeared before the Assizes judge       for his dates. It was Justice Pronovost who had erroneously       told him last time he had to to return below to have his Quash       Motion heard.              Rene said he thought that Justice Pronovost was seized of the       Quash Motion but he just put it off to the Case Management       judge on Dec 19 with the motion slated for Jan 15 with the       trial to open on Jan 22. Maybe they hope to have the Trial       judge hear it. Sure, as long as he's not the Trial Judge yet.              But another Quash is on the move looking for the first judge       not to disobey Parliament's Interpretation Act that says you       can't fix something over here and bring back something not       alive and obey the Hitzig Court of Appeal that said their       fixing the MMAR brought the CDSA prohibitions back info force.              And we'll just keep looking for one who sees they could not do       what they said they did and does obey Parliament.              Bob Woolsey presents his Reply to the Crown's response       tomorrow morning in BC. Should be a really fun show.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
