   JCT: Tony and Nicole Van Edig filed their motions for interim   
   relief in extending their exemptions past expiry date while   
   they wait for their renewed permit for hearing in Ottawa   
   General Sittings on Wednesday Jan 10 2018 when their   
   exemptions expire.   
      
   They just got a message from the court:   
      
   This will confirm the following Directions of the Court   
   (Brown, Case Management Judge) dated Jan 4 2018:   
       "The Plaintiffs' motions, presently scheduled for the   
       General Sittings of Jan 10 2018 will proceed as a special   
       sitting before the Case Management Judge by way of   
       teleconference, on Wednesday Jan 10 2018 at 2:30pm for a   
       duration of 1 hour.   
      
   JCT: Hearing a couple of hours before Health Canada closes   
   shop on the day their hearing expires. Only Ray's 6:30pm   
   hearing cut it closer to the wire by 4 hours.   
      
       Parties may remain in their respective offices. The   
       Defendant's motion records in response are to be served   
       and filed by 4:30pm on Monday Jan 8 2018."   
      
   JCT: Can you imagine what they're going to say to explain why   
   they're letting their permits expire? Hey, there's a long line   
   up in front of them! Har har har har har har.   
      
   There's going to be some hot-footing going on before they have   
   to file a written response! Har har har har har har. In   
   writing! They've go 2 days to bump them to the top of the   
   pile.
