|    TURMEL: Judge Keast rules Survival Odds     |
|    15 Feb 18 02:50:11    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: On Tuesday, I was in North Bay to be an expert witness       in the Mathematics of Gambling to attest that all the regime       flaws raised in the Mike Ethier's Charter Motion reduce the       chances of patient survival.              Judge John D. Keast gave me plenty of time to explain how I       laid out how the chances are reduced and then patient       witnesses can lay out how much it hurt. The whole argument.              And then he ruled that he didn't see the relevance of my       testimony.              No problem, all the harms are laid out in the Constitutional       Motion itself, even without my report, and he has to sign       off on "nothing wrong here." And then we take it and the       previous dismissal of the Quash motion by another judge to       appeal.              As for driving impaired by marijuana, the cop testified he       followed Mike for 30km and saw him crossing the center line       and even the shoulder of the road.              You'd think he'd have pulled over such a danger to the road       in the first kilometer. Why wait 30 kilometers. And haven't       you crossed the center line the odd time on an empty       highway?              Regardless, Mike's been smoking and driving all his life and       has never caused an accident. How is that possible if he       always drove as dangerously as the cop painted it?              I told Mike his strongest card was that no matter what the       cop thought he saw, his driving has never ever caused an       accident.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
