From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              TURMEL: Two more Lapierre Plaintiffs file for interim grow permits              JCT: Two more of Luc Lapierre's Plaintiffs didn't get their       permits in 1 and 2 weeks waiting and have filed motions for       interim remedy. Boy, are Health Canada suckers for       punishment.              Jonathan Courcelles filed his Statement of Claim T-327-18       that his registration is taking too long on Feb 16. He gave       them almost 2 weeks to hop to it. They did not. So he filed       his Motion for Interim Remedy on Feb 27.              Charline Pelissier filed her Statement of Claim T-343-18       on Feb 20. She gave them a week to hop to it. They did not.       So she filed her Motion for Interim Remedy on Feb 27.              Oral directions received from the Court:       The Honourable Mr. Justice Brown dated 27-FEB-2018 directing       that:        Further to the Plaintiff's motion record, filed on        February 27, 2018, The Defendant has until March 9,        2018, to serve and file responding material.              JCT: So now the Crown has to get them their permits before       March 9 to mooten their motions. But they're still going to       have file an response explaining that they have complied.       Har har har.              So, three newbies on Judge Brown's desk this week thanks to       Luc Lapierre's great big mouth! the judge still has to deal       with the Crown demanding costs for Heidi's successful       motion, and tomorrow has a hearing with Jeff Harris at       3:00pm on the timetable for the documents on the action.       That's where the Crown forgot the judge has to extend the       time, not them, and forgot to give us a chance to respond to       their motion to dismiss the "back-dated time" claim with       their already-filed motion to dismiss the "too-long time"       claim which we are prepared to answer when the judge says       okay.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
