From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              TURMEL: Three Plaintiffs get Hop-To-It MedPot Grow Permits              Earlier in the week, I wrote: Matthew Hradsky files Motion       for Interim Grow.              Friday Mar 9: Matthew filed his Statement of Claim       Monday Mar 12: He filed his motion for interim remedy.       Tuesday Mar 13: Judge Brown orders Crown response by Mar 19.       Wednesday Mar 14: Wendy Wright writes:              Dear Sir:       Re: Hradsky, Matthew Peter v HMTQ (Turmel Kit)       Court File No: T-459-18              I am advised by Health Canada that it has approved your       application to produce cannabis for your personal use, and       that your registration is currently valid. I am also advised       that a certificate confirming this registration has been       sent to you via registered mail and will arrive shortly.              Your motion for interim relief is therefore now moot. In       light of this, I ask that you abandon your motion by       completing the enclosed Notice of Abandonment. If you wish       to discontinue your underlying claim, please also complete       the enclosed Notice of Discontinuance.              JCT: Why give up the underlying claim for monetary       damages. But offering both forms did trick one of our people       into signing away their underlying claim for damages.              WW: Once completed, please serve and file these or provide       me with an electronic copy for filing on your behalf.       I ask that you file or return the Notice of Abandonment by       Friday March 16 at 12pm.              JCT: Dream on lady! She'll have to file a response on March       19 telling Judge Brown how HC hopped to it in one day. After       she's done that work, then he'll abandon. Maybe they'll       start hopping to it a lot faster if they realize that some       will file the motion the very day after HC got their Claim.              Also, Luc Lapierre reports that two other Plaintiff who just       filed motions, Marc Potvin and David Potvin who filed their       Claims Feb 6 and waited until Mar 12 to make the motion just       got their permits today, March 16.              And just like Matthew, Marc and David will be filing their       abandonment papers after Wendy responds to the judge that       the motions have been mooted by the hop-to-its. If only       Health Canada hopped to it a little faster, Wendy wouldn't       have to file so many motions in response.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
