From: johnturmel@gmail.com              JCT: Despite the fact that Igor waited 11 months to get his       permit, he had submitted a 6-month medical document and it       expired before being processed. He spent another month       getting another medical document and filed a statement of       claim after another 4 months wait. 11 months before he got       his permit! But it wasn't 11 months for 1 application.              After paying $2,000 for his medical document, Steve Vetricek       submitted his application for registration last October 2017       with a Designated Person to grow for him. After 7 months of       his DG bugging him to keep calling Health Canada, he had to       give up his grower and start over but growing for himself.              He paid another $1,000 to get another medical document and       submitted in May 2018 and has still not heard anything. And       he's paying rent on his new site while he waits!!              So on July 18, he filed his Statement of Claim over the       delays and will file a motion to see the Judge Brown next       week. But he's the first who's claiming the wasted money for       the first medical document in damages!! Don't know if Igor       paid for his first wasted medical document but since it was       from a unqualified chiropractor, it's probably not       claimable.              Still, here we are and they still have a 9-month backlog!              Just wish others who are waiting could find out about our       kits to push them to hop-to-it. Let's see how long it takes       after 9 months for them to hop-to-it for Steve's Motion.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
