From: johnturmel@gmail.com              TURMEL: 3 Montreal MedPot Musketeers file motions for permits!              JCT: I just checked the Federal Court web site and found       another half dozen filers. There are some plaintiffs about       the 150 gram limit but there are also some people who are       still suffering processing delays who want their permits.              On Oct 18, three Montreal patients filed Statements of Claim       over the long processing time. (On their own)              On Oct 24, they filed Motions for interim relief asking for       personal court-exemptions until their permits come through.       (On their own)              On Oct 24, Judge Brown directed that the Crown "Defendant in       each is to serve and file a response on or before November       12, and the Plaintiff in each is to serve and file a reply       if any by November 19, 2018."              It does go to show that the instructions are pretty clear       and simple to follow. And a triple at that.              So Health Canada still has to hop-to-it if they want to       moot the hearing before the judge. Health Canada is still       back-logged enough that people have to ask to the a judge to       get to the top of the pile.              Stay tuned.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
