From: johnturmel@gmail.com              TURMEL: Mathew Wyllie medpot charges withdrawn              JCT: Mathew Wyllie got his prescription from doctor from       April 9, 2017 to April 9, 2018. Because they started permits       when the doctor signed, he started growing without waiting       for his registration from Health Canada and was charged on       October 18, 2017 in Stony Plain Alberta with S.7 Production       and two counts of S.5(2) Possession for the Purpose of       Trafficking and decided to self-defend.              He filed a Quash Motion which the Judge dismissed.              He filed a Statement of Claim on December 4 2017 and Health       Canada didn't hop to it for 3 months. He received his       registration with effective date March 16, 2018 to March 16,       2019. Looks like it took 11 months to get.              So on Tuesday Jan 15, the Crown withdrew all charges! Smart       move given his doctor had signed before the bust.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
