   DANGEROUS Criminal?
   ==================
   Report of Ashley Smith's transfer to Grand Valley in 2007 shows her, A KID,
   being
   treated like A VERY DANGEROUS PRISONER. Was this treatment of a teenager
   WARRANTED? Really? "Wearing green track pants and a T-shirt, Smith is taken
   off the plane with a waist restraint and her hands and ankles cuffed. She is
   escorted
   by six guards dressed in tactical gear. She is transported on a secure truck
   to a
   segregation cell." Toronto Star, Wednesday, February 20th 2013, "ASHLEY
   SMITH INQUEST: Troubled teen believed guards would save her", page A3

   A "Challenging" Inmate?
   ==================
   "She was sent directly into a segregation cell once she arrived at Nova and
   remained
   there for her entire stay at the facility."

   Alfred Legere, warden at the Nova Institution, testifying at the Ashley Smith
   Inquest:
   "We were providing so much attention to Ashley that I didn't know what was
   happe-
   ning with 79 other inmates," Legere testified." Toronto Star, Tuesday,
   February 26th
   2013, "Smith saw hostage-taking: Warden testifies about prison conditions in
   Nova
   Scotia institution", page A2

   Is this TRUE or pure BULLSHIT?

   What do you think?

   I doN'T like THE SMELL OF THIS.

   Our VICIOUS, DIRTY FASCIST Police state Gov't STINKS!

   BIG TIME!

   Yes?

   Being CRUEL + MEAN
   ==================
   "Legere said ... guards at Nova were ... instructed to withdraw warmth ... ."
   Toronto Star,
   Tuesday, February 26th 2013, "Smith saw hostage-taking: Warden testifies about
   prison
   conditions in Nova Scotia institution", page A2

   8 Hours STRAPPED in Restraining Chair
   ===============================
   "Guards at a Nova Scotia prison used 'extraordinary force' when they strapped
   Ashley
   Smith in a specially designed restraining chair for eight hours in 2007 ... ."

   " 'It's an extraordinary deprivation of her liberty. She was in that chair for
   eight hours
   strapped in like that. It's an extraordinary use of force on someone who was
   essentially
   compliant with them," Breese Davies said in an interview outside the inquest.
   Toronto
   Star, Wednesday, February, 27th 2013, "Smith spent 8 hourss in chair: Inquest
   hears
   warden feared she would kill herself if not restrained", page A14

   Clearly OVERKILL!
   ===============
   "The video shows six specially trained emergency response guards in black
   suits and
   visors on their helmets entering Smith's cell on Aug. 23, 2007. When they
   enter, four
   other regular guards from the jail are already waiting in her cell wearing
   hazardous
   materials suits. Toronto Star, Wednesday, February, 27th 2013, "Smith spent 8
   hours
   in chair: Inquest hears warden feared she would kill herself if not
   restrained", page A14

   PINNED, then CUFFED!
   ==================
   "On the video the guards in the suits already have Smith pinned face down on
   the
   floor of her cell, with her head on a pillow. Her hands are cuffed behind her
   back
   and her legs are shackled."

   "The emergency response guards then take Ashley and strap her into the chair."

   HOME: where A KID belongs
   ======================
   Ashley Smith's mother (who adopted her when only a few days old), Coralee, said
   to a reporter of P.E.I.'s the Journal Pioneer in 2012, "Ashley's biggest wish
