From: johnturmel@gmail.com              TURMEL: Renewer gains almost 11 weeks on period of grow permit              JCT: One of our plaintiffs has taken advantage of one of the       things our motions have won for us. In order to avoid       renewers going for interim remedy because of looming expiry       dates, Health Canada extended the permits of people who have       sent in their renewals until the decision on the renewal. So       there's no more need to rush to send in your renewal because       the closer it is to expiry date, the more free time you'll       gain when it's issued.              Case in point, Ray's permit was expiring on Sep 5. He       Priority Posted his renewal on Sep 2.              He got his permit on Nov 22 starting on Nov 22 2019 ending       Nov 22 2020! So he gained 78 days past expiry date on his       old permit until the new one was issued. Getting the full       year was also one of the things our action obtained.              But if you send in your renewal 10 weeks early and they       approve it in 5 weeks, you lost 5 weeks off your old permit.       So send your renewal as close to expiry date as possible to       maximize the time you'll gain.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
