|    TURMEL: Health Canada grants J.C. Turnbu    |

From: johnturmel@gmail.com              JCT: Health Canada said they needed to confirm that John       wasn't supplying any of his personal pot to his Guardian       Medical Services that doesn't yet have a permit and can't       yet use any pot. Har har har har har har.              JC Turnbull medpot permit stalled for false concerns       https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alt.fan.john-turmel/CQLetmlZb0k       is my report on what he told the judge.              Even though he had to Reply for his motion for interim       remedy on Jan 13, Health Canada told the Court they would       decide on Jan 16. So everyone waited. Today, the Crown       wrote:        I am advised by Health Canada that staff have now        reviewed the plaintiff's response dated Jan 2 2020 to        Health Canada's request for information and that Health        Canada issued a Registration Certificate to the        plaintiff on Jan 16 2020. As his renewal application has        now been granted, the plaintiff's motion is moot and        Canada requests that it be dismissed.              JCT: As expected. So why did Health Canada have to make the       Court wait.               As the plaintiff's motion had no prospect in any event,              JCT: What, there was no prospect that Judge Brown would       allow John to move his grow while he waited for Health       Canada's decide the new hoops they'd make him jump through.               Canada also reiterates its requests for costs of the        motion, fixed at $300.        Benjamin Wong              JCT: Hey, he had a legitimate reason to ask the Court to       move and the fact they made him wait for their decision and       he didn't give up earlier is no reason to whack him with       costs. Judge Brown has never given them costs before and       after being jerked around by McGuire again, Judge Brown may       not be in the mood to punish John.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
