|    TURMEL: Turnbull's motion mooted upon de    |
|    24 Jan 20 07:20:18    |
From: johnturmel@gmail.com              JCT: James Turnbull's application had been stalled for a       really stupid reason, that they suspected him of providing       his private stash to his prospective micro-business. Before       it had a license. So they suspected him of providing to an       entity not yet entitled to receive. Har har har har har har.       And we caught them.              Federal Court              Date: 20200122       Docket:T-1222-18              Ottawa, Ontario, January 22 2020              Between        JOHN CLAY TURNBULL        Plaintiff        and        HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN        Defendant               ORDER              UPON motion by the Plaintiff seeking an Order for interim       reliefin the nature of a personal constitutional exemption       to start growing marijuana pursuant to the conditions in the       application until Health Canada delivers the needed permit       under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes       Regulations, or in the alternative, an Order of Mandamus       that Health Canada immediately do its duty not to violate       the Plaintiff's right to life by issuing the requisite       permit and other relief              AND UPON reading the pleadings and proceeding:              AND UPON considering the Defendant granted the Plaintiff's       application on Jan 16 2020, the Court has concluded the       motion is moot and should be dismissed.              THEREFORE THIS COURT ORDERS that the Plaintiff's motion is       dismissed as moot, without costs.       Henry S. Brown, Judge.              JCT: Remember, the Crown requested John pay for costs of the       motion, fixed at $300. Har har har. Judge Brown has never       granted costs after they hopped-to-it and it would have       surprised me even more here because of the way they made       everyone wait an extra 3 days before deciding. Now quite       trying to make it easy on the court.              So another happy warrior. And Judge Brown gets to see them       try to jerk someone around on a baseless reason. Can't get       better than that.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
