|    TURMEL: Crown wants non-responders' acti    |

From: johnturmel@gmail.com              TURMEL: Crown wants non-responders' actions struck early              JCT: Judge Brown ordered anyone who opposed the Crown's       motion to have their actions dismissed after the Harris       Court of Appeal loss but before the Mozajko Court of Appeal       hearing to file a response and any who did oppose would be       liable for $150 in costs.              Scott McCluskey is telling everyone it's $150k in costs but       no one's stupid enough to believe that. I hope.              But because only Steve responded that he wanted to wait for       Mozajko's appeal, the Crown is now seeking to have everyone       else dismissed before then.              Department of Justice       VIA FAX              February 21 2020              Federal Court              Re: Claims listed in Schedule "A"              By direction dated Dec 16 2019, the Court invited the       plaintiffs in the matters to make submissions by Jan 21       2020as to why their claims should not be dismissed for the       reasons given by the Federal Court of Appeal in Harris.              The plaintiffs in the matters listed in Schedule "A" to this       letter have not filed submissions opposing the dismissal of       their claims. Further to our letter of Oct 3, 2019, Canada       therefore requests that these claims be struck without leave       to amend, without costs.              Jon Bricker, Wendy Wright.              JCT: So even if Brown grants Steve's request to wait to see       if Mozajko reverses the Harris decision, they want to him to       strike everyone else before then.              Har har har har har har. Seems not only sleazy but stupid.       Can you imagine what Judge Brown would look like if he did       strike everyone who did not respond and then Mozajko gets       Brown's Judgment sustained to keep Steve but no one else       alive. Har har har. Doubt it. He should be insulted by the       unfairness of the request.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
