|    TURMEL: Mozajko & St-Germain get hop-to-    |

From: johnturmel@gmail.com              TURMEL: Mozajko & St-Germain get hop-to-it permits              JCT: https://groups.google.com/g/alt.fan.john-turmel/c/L_M9VaR3fgs       is my report on Igor Mozajko's Statement of Claim for delay       of amendment when he moved and he hadn't received his new       permit 3 months later. This isn't like a renewal where the       old permit remains good during processing. This is grow shut       down awaiting new permit. The Crown has moved to dismiss it       because of Harris and Igor pointed out this was not about       processing a new permit but amending an old one.              He filed on April 29 and after 2 weeks of nothing, I was       preparing a motion for interim remedy when he got it. So       he's written to the court to abandon his claim for damages       during the delay. Not much so far.              Sylvain St-Germain was awaiting his renewal for 9 months! He       had used the kit to speed up his original permit and didn't       know it was still good while he was waiting. So on April 28,       he filed a Statement of Claim for delay. The Crown again       asked that it be dismissed and he has written to abandon it:              Sylvain St-Germain       Wednesday May 19 2021              VIA EFILING PORTAL       Federal Court Administrator:               re: Sylvain St-Germain v. HMTQ T-691-21              1. Could you please place this response to the Defendant's       May 14 2021 letter from Jon Bricker before Case Management       Judge Brown.              2. I filed my renewal 9 months ago and have lived in fear of       arrest for not taking down my production facility nor       destroying my stored product.              3. I was unaware that the Health Canada rules had been       changed so my old permit was extended upon filing the       renewal.              4. With no cause of action, I wish to abandon my action.       Dated at Chelmsford Ontario on May 19 2021.       Sylvain St-Germain       Jon Bricker              JCT: He got his renewed permit yesterday. Guess we can call       that a hop-to-it when others are still waiting.              So two claims for amendment and renewal resolved with a       little $2 kick in the Health Canada's ass!              I keep hearing about slow permit processing again. 10       months! Guess it's time to start pushing the new updated       delsc8 for a new gang of complainers.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
