   TURMEL: 4 days til New Blue miss their "Aberhart" Moment   
      
   JCT: I've mentioned before that the only time a new party   
   swept into power was in Alberta during the Great Depression   
   when Social Credit "Bible Bill" Aberhart won a majority from   
   the fed-up voters who had suffered enough.   
      
   I know the story well because my grandfather Adelard Turmel   
   was a long-time Quebec Socred and had cheered Aberhart all   
   the while. the greatest two axioms Adelard taught me were:   
   1) Money has no babies;   
   2) Interest is theft.   
      
   I realised Money had no babies when I ran in my first   
   election to legalize gambling in 1979, (I got tired of being   
   busted running underground games: 1993 OPP Project Robin   
   Hood was the raid on Casino Turmel, the biggest gaming house   
   bust in history (28 tables, I should apply for the Guinness   
   Record)).   
      
   Someone asked me what I do about inflation (about 10% at the   
   time. I wondered why does Canada's coins inflate when my   
   casino chips do not. Same hardware, inflation must be a   
   software problem! So having realized that interest does not   
   fight inflation (higher production costs get passed along in   
   higher, not lower prices, duh), I saw it as my engineering   
   duty to keep trying to win political power to run money   
   without interest like my poker chips.   
      
   Later that year, I visited gramps and when he found out I   
   had dedicated myself to abolishing interest, he let me know   
   he was too was in favor of Sociable Credit and was delighted   
   I had caught on all on my own. So that's why I got into   
   politics, to reprogram the bank computers to give everyone   
   an interest-free credit card, and after a Guinness record   
   104 elections, I'm still trying and not being elected.   
      
   So when I realized that the government were pulling another   
   fast one on us by comparing the Covid CFR Apple to the Flu's   
   100 times too small IFR Orange, I saw as a great opportunity   
   to make news and then bring attention onto the   
   malfunctioning money engineering. But got shot down for not   
   having any restrictions actually affecting me and they   
   wouldn't let me get a declaration that any restriction was   
   bad.   
      
   Anyway, I've explained before how asking a judge to declare   
   the false alarm would be so newsworthy that it would let New   
   Blue sweep into power just as Bible Bill's promise of   
   sociable credits swept his team into power.   
      
   I am truly amazed and disappointed that not one New Bluer   
   had taken the challenge to ask the court. So, once you rush   
   off the cliff, I'll get back to getting ordinary people to   
   ask and you watch if clogging the courts with hundreds of   
   self-represented plaintiffs doesn't make national news like   
   my recent actions for relief for medpot patients.   
      
   So even if New Blue blows it, I'd bet Alim Manji will be one   
   of the first to stand up to lead the charge. I know a few   
   other keeners and imagine if we once again steal the show.   
   Won't that prove New Bluers were double losers. Not only   
   losing in the regular way but losing by turning down a   
   winning move, as Aberhart succeeded.   
      
   The Court Registry is open tomorrow Monday so you could all   
   be filed before tomorrow evening.
