   Strawman alert!

An unbroken system is not the same as one in "perfect running order". A
car can be unbroken yet still emit CO2 and other gasses.

It's a cute comparison because that's precisely what The One thinks he
can do with the auto industry. Just pass a law that says that cars
should get 50 mpg and halve emissions because he says so. And while
they're at it, define PI = 3.0 to be convenient. (Yes, that actually
   did happen once!)

We're boiling the frog down under the Northern border and I for one have
my swim trunks on. As a renter, every time The One breaks something,
real estate prices plummet further. The Democrat retirees in my area
are losing all their equity as I look forward to picking up their shacks
for pennies on the dollar. Just view it as a "positive action", Hippy.
