   This involves a Car accident, and if anyone, especially Lawyers, who   
   monitor this NG would like to give an opinion, or point me to any   
   appropriate Case Law,  I certainly would appreciate it.   
      
   Road conditions at the time were ideal, broad daylight, sunshine and   
   dry road surface. I was travelling well above the posted speed limit   
   and failed to stop at a stop sign at a 4-way intersection and struck   
   another vehicle that was proceeding through the intersection. I had a   
   clear, unobstructed view of the intersection and the stop sign, and   
   even though I had at least 3 seconds warning of the impending   
   accident, I took no preventive action, there were no skid marks from   
   my car so I did not even touch my brakes, and injured both occupants   
   of the car I hit. I contacted a friend who lived nearby by cellphone   
   and he 'dropped everything' and helped me leave the scene of the   
   accident. We did not check to see if anyone in the other car required   
   immediate first-aid. There were 2 occupants in my car and when the   
   police finally caught up with us, we gave conflicting stories as to   
   who was actually driving at the time of the accident.   
      
   What can I/we be charged with?
