For example       UK incorporated Spamhaus deciding not to show up do defend spamhaus       after asking the bogus suit filed by e360 insight be moved from       state to federal court. On the other had, perhaps that was intended       to give Dave Linhardt a false sense of confidence about the merits       of his claim. Linhardt's claims against Comcast were tossed on       summary judgement as having no legal basis. Comcast is pursuing costs       and damages, apparently to make a example of someone the judge who       tossed the case characterized as a spammer in his decision.       >       > Back to the default "libel" judgement:       > If you want to sue an American subject, sue that person in the       > US. Benson, Nanaimo boasted of having only spent a net of $20 to       defend himself. The judgement against him was about $1,000 that amount.       Did he make the wisest decision?              I expect that Griffin is out of pocket considerable change, but he now       has the criminal libel option if PMS carrys on or fails to purge his libel from       usenet. I wonder how that part of the Judge's Decision is working out       for PMS.       >       > See above for "best defence".       > See comments/ruling by the Nanaimo       > justice at the end of this article       > for information as to why HG *pwned*       > Paddles before it went to trial.       >       > The most effective tool for handling Paddles' kooksuit       > and hilarious trumped up claims is to continue to undermine his       > revenge fueled position with the facts or silence. When he foams,       > call the cops.              That is what I did after reading PMS's "I am Ted" admission on       bc.general. The "Ted Smith" sock puppet used to promise to visit me       and "take out the trash" before comitting suicide. "Ted" did express       some ambivalence, saying he couldn't decide whether to shoot me with       a telescope equipped rife and watch my head explode or kill me with       a knife to enjoy the sounds and smells and collect souveniers.              Whatever the truth, that was the end of the "Ted" threats.              The irony of someone planning on killing themself collecting souveniers       is a classic example of PMS/Ted/Clayton/Moira/... non sequiter logic.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
