If this is the standard of English you demonstrated I'm not surprised
   you got turned down.

   Corrected version:

   -------------------------------------------------------

I considered my chances of obtaining the position were reasonably good.
I started the interview with a positive attitude and the questions were
within my technical knowledge (I assume that's what you mean, but it's
   hard to tell).

If the interviewer, who was both illiterate, unintelligible and an
immigrant, produces a defence based on my attitude and the commission
accepts my complaint the interviewer will need to prove I displayed the
     attitude alleged.

Win or lose, I will know I did the right thing.

   ------------------------

I know it's not perfect, but seeing as it's twenty past midnight it's
the best I can do in ten minutes.
