|    SCO loses again    |

From: bo774@FreeNet.Carleton.CA              It took a jury just 8 hours of deliberation to reach a unanimous       decision that Novell, not SCO owns the copyright to Unix.              SCO had sued Novell for slander of title, after Novell made       a public announcement about having retained title to Unix.              In additions to the billions SCO claimed from IBM and Linux       using enterprises SCO wanted $200,000,000 from Novell for       having "damaged" SCO by pointing out that Novell owns Unix.              The facts of the case have been known to everyone for years,       but SCO attempted to spread Fear Uncertainty and Doubt among       Linux users, years after SCO became a laughingstock.              I'm so relieved SCO won't be knocking on my door and demanding       my Linux DVDs or royalty money. -)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
