   A few years ago (probably 10 to 15 years ago) I got a T5 from a bank -   
   because I had a bank account that had accumulated more than $100 in   
   interest over the course of a year.  I think that was the threshold for   
   income reporting for interest on a bank account.   
      
   And naturally, I was never able to get an answer as to why I could not   
   claim the various bank charges for the account as expenses for tax   
   purposes...
