Agreed totally! On a slightly related note, does anyone happen to have
any information on how the ACTA copyright thing affects our right as
blind people to read and share books in alternative formats? I've done
some brief research online, but most of what I'm finding is about music
and DRM and three strikes laws and so on. As most of our rights to read
books are dependant on national copyright exemptions, how will ACTA
change these? While I don't support what the RIAA is trying to do, I
don't want to come out against ACTA if it turns out to be a huge win for
the international blind community; I think our right to read is far more
important than the rights of file sharers and music consumers.
