Here's an example. In my State medical malpractice cases must be       filed within 2 yrs. That's the Statute of Limitations. Filed, not heard. The       delay in trial date is not relevant to SOL, here. I'd bet that cases can drag       on for generations. That's certainly true in other Countries that have a       legal system based on English law.        Of course there are American Indians in North, and South America.
