   I went through all that crap. There's no on at the so-called "Archives   
   of Ontario" who will answer either emails or the goddamned telephone.   
      
   Thanks for the reply. Like I said, the UK side of all this is easy; the   
   Ontario side is shrouded in paranoia and inbreeding. I can afford a   
   fucking lawyer if I have to, but I'd rather spend the money on wine.
