XPost: bc.politics       From: nobody@nowhere.com              Hi,              Everyone knows about the Nigerian email scam. Criminals in Nigeria send out       hundreds of millions of such emails based upon some deceitful premise or       story. They think the recipients are morons. Some are and because of       profitability the Nigerian email scams continue.              Lately, organized crime in the Lower Mainland has come up with a new scam.       They will send you a text message from a stolen cell phone that cannot be       traced. They will claim that your cell phone has been stolen and is theirs       based on the cell phone number. If you phone back they will demand the phone       back and try to arrange a meeting. They may have guns.              Be warned. Be very, warned.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
