   Crown wins adjournment of Spottiswood's MedPot trial   
      
   JCT: Judge Goodman granted the Crown's motion for an   
   adjournment of Mike Spottiswood's trial until the fall   
   assizes. His next pre-trial will be in June so all those   
   witnesses we've organized won't be testifying on Jan 21 this   
   year but will be in Bele Beke's upcoming trial in   
   Brockville! The Crown can duck but they can't hide.   
      
   I think they're just trying to drag it out for as long as   
   possible before withdrawing the charges just as we get   
   going. So they got themselves almost another year of delay.   
   with Mike being ready to go for the past year, it'll be   
   almost 3 years before trial with Mike ready to go for the   
   past two.   
      
   Of course, I have a couple of sneaky moves up my sleeve but   
   we have to give the Crown the chance to err before playing   
   them.
