   TURMEL: Ray Turmel bust for over-plant limit wants Return of Plants   
      
   JCT: Ray grows for himself and another exemptee with   
   licenses for 10 pounds total.   
      
   On Nov 9 2012, he was busted by Securite du Quebec in   
   possession of 4 pounds and charged with over-producing to   
   get to their 10 pounds with too many plants, thus   
   demonstrating that plants are not right parameter for the   
   prohibition to be based on, right?   
      
   At his appearance yesterday morning, he filed his   
   Application for the Return of Controlled Substances. If he   
   proves the law is still dead, or gets it killed again, or is   
   found not guilty, he wants the controlled substances they   
   seized back.   
      
   Oh, the plants are all dead and destroyed! I guess the only   
   thing they can do is pay him $1,000 per plant they took! But   
   no need to get into that until the Controlled Substance is   
   ordered returned. With that order in hand, then we'll talk   
   about how they then pay off.   
      
   So Ray will be filing his Quash motion pretty soon, and will   
   have his own constitutional challenge in Quebec where   
   the plant limit will really take a beating.   
      
   Low number of plants means ray has to grow year round. Why   
   can't he plant double in winter when he only needs a   
   circulation fan and take off the summer off when he needs   
   air conditioners as long as he's under his limit? A   
   completely destructive parameter I want gone.   
      
   No helpers allowed to water the plants. The patient is   
   chained to his garden and moving around big 40pound pots for   
   plants that can produce half pound, etc.225 gms. Ray can   
   produce 22 10-gram "bud on a twig" instead of the half-pound   
   on one tree. Since only the first 1.5 feet of light reach   
   the plant, all his twigs get maximum light but only the top   
   part of the tree gets the light producing the good bud. So   
   lots of the tree leaves that didn't get much light produce   
   inferior runts while Ray's twigs produce the maximum best   
   bud without needing the time to grow the tree. So you can   
   see how the stupid plant limit forces them to waste hydro.   
      
   Finally, if drug companies give doctors samples for doctors   
   to hand out, when Ray nears his limit and sees he's going to   
   go over, why can't he give the doctor the excess for   
   samples. Do you know many drugs patients can't try out?   
      
   So the plant limit challenge is coming to the fore in   
   Quebec. Along with the other two dozen old beefs and the new   
   "no help" complaint.
