From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: Joe Dickinson was busted with a few ounces of marijuana       in Toronto. He is applying for his medical exemption and has       filed his "Return of Controlled Substance" and "Quash"       motions.              He had used the old version of the Quash application and       pre-trial discussions had put it off to the trial. But when       he filed the new version explaining how a S.601 App has to       go first pre-plea, before anything else, the latest judge       agreed and has slated it for hearing at 9:30am at the old       Toronto City Hall Courthouse.              Joe also asked that I be allowed to help him and the judge       agreed!              So Joe only has one major line to pin the judge, look him       right in the eye and ask:              Are you going to obey Parliament's Interpretation Act that       says courts amending the MMAR cannot revive any CDSA       prohibitions not in force; or the Hitzig Court who say they       revived the CDSA that was not in force for 2 years when they       amended the MMAR?              And of course, if the court says he accepts Hitzig amending       the MMAR turned the CDSA prohibition back on, then we point       out Health Canada UN-amending the MMAR to put the flaws back       turned the CDSA prohibitions back off: BENO!              Should be a great show Wednesday morning.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
