From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: Since there was no button for starting a Court of       Appeal file, I presumed the electronic mail didn't work for       the Court of Appeal. Stephen Burrows just sent and submitted       his Notice of Appeal as another document in his file and got       confirmation it was submitted within the required 10 days,       at 10pm last night!!!              Subject: Submission Confirmation       From: Stephen Patrick Burrows [weebes4613@hotmail.com]       To: Caverly, Elizabeth       Sent: March 18, 2014 11:06 AM              The numbers of the files whose Notice of Appeal were       submitted and stamped received by the court within the 10       day appeal period for interlocutory judgements are:       T-485-14, T-486-14, T-487-14, T-516-14, T-517-14, T-539-14              JCT: Those were the Notices of Appeal submitted by Ray       Turmel, Henriette McIntyre and Bela Beke in Ottawa before       those submitted by Laurence Cherniak, Sam Mellace and Terry       Parker in Toronto.              They were sent for direction on Filing, but they got Stamp       proof I filed within 10 days?              Should my Notice of Appeal be accepted and I am given an       Appeal number, would I then have to re-file with paper       documentation or would the Notice of Appeal be moved to new       appeal file ?              Thank-You Again Stephen       ---              Subject: RE: Submission Confirmation       From: Elizabeth.Caverly@cas-satj.gc.ca       To: weebes4613@hotmail.com       Date: Tue, 18 Mar 2014 10:09:44 -0400              Yes, I've confirmed that the appeals have been sent to the       Court for direction. If they should accept them, I'll file       your appeal and you won't have to resubmit. However, I'm       going to wait to see what the Court of Appeal directs the       Registry to do...       Elizabeth              JCT: Okay, so you can submit your Notices of Appeal on time       even if you don't get an Appeal File Number right away. But       once you're in, it's ticket to the top if a judge says no.       So get on, don't need an extension of time to file your       motion for interim exemption for personal medical use       pending trial below like I'mg going to be needing. I decided       to obey Her Majesty The Clerk who told me mine was       unacceptable.              Over 100 on the http://johnturmel.com/mmprgold star team by today,       using http://johnturmel.com/kits with 7 appeals filed and more on the go.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
