|    TURMEL: Friday High Noon Selfies Protest    |
|    23 Apr 14 11:03:04    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              TURMEL: Friday High Noon Selfies Protest at FCC Courthouses              JCT: Ray stealing the national spotlight with his biggest       bag of pot showed us how people will line up 3-deep for       selfie picture with that bag of pot.              So, on Friday April 25, Terry Parker, Laurence Cherniak and       Sam Mellace and any other Gold Stars will be offering       selfies in front of the Federal Court of Canada building at       180 Queen St. W. Toronto announcing the upcoming Apr 29 Big       Event.              Ray and I are going to be in Montreal for the Quebec Court       of Appeal in the morning and will do Pot Baggie Selfies at       their Federal Court at high noon.              If you live near a Federal Courthouse and can carry the       maximum limit around with you and have time to do the same,       post it at my facebook status in case others may want to go       with you.              We now have courtrooms in Ottawa & Toronto ON,       Montreal (missing Quebec) QU, Halifax NS, Fredericton NB,       Winnipeg MN, Regina SK, Calgary and Edmonton AB, and       Vancouver BC and yesterday St. Johns NF. I thought I had       someone from Charlottetown PEI but couldn't it again.              3 Territories to go for completion. Don't tell me this isn't       the neatest thing we've all done. And when it's over,       there'll just us with our Gold Stars to prove we did it.              Fake medpot champions are conspicuous by their absence from       our Gold Stars for Repeal, aren't they? They're not for       Repeal? Guess not. Can't wait to ask them someday why they       didn't ask with us? If the Gold Stars win repeal, how are       they going to explain why they didn't invest the $2 to get       in on the attack? How? Har har har. Day of Judgment upon       them.              This involves making a list of media to call, they sometimes       also want you to fax your announcement, but I've usually       found just telling them is enough if it's a big story. And       considering this is going on in a dozen cities, I think it's       big enough some will come out to report on the Baggie       Battalion in front of Federal Courthouses across Canada       parading their 150 gram limit as 9 times not enough to       highlight Tuesday's Big Event.              So we've got lots of courthouses to cover. But what we       really need is not only the other cities covered but more       people showing up and calling the same media to tell them       twice, thrice..              Ray will do selfies in front of the Court of Appeal that       morning and he'll do a few selfies in front of the Montreal       Federal Court at High Noon and finally, I think it would be       fun going to down to the Criminal Courthouse so all the cops       and accuseds can have a chance for some selfies with a       maximum bag of pot too.              Like I mentioned last time, make sure your Gold Star       Statement of Claim has the bottom part covered saying       "Repeal       April 29"       so it's in all the selfies. You know where people put       selfies and I can't think of a better way for the message to       get out at this point, can you?              So if you can cover your courthouse on Friday Nigh Noon your       time, and can make a few calls for a press conference, post       it at my status page. It could turn into a series of street       pot parties.              Smoke em if you got em too.       Do mention other protests in other cities too.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
