|    TURMEL: Crown: Ray Turmel SCC Precedents    |
|    28 Aug 14 14:24:47    |
From: johnturmel@yahoo.com              JCT: Ray just got this letter from the Crown to the Supreme       Court of Canada Registrar.              Saint-Jerome,       Friday August 22 2014              Supreme Court of Canada Registry Officer              Object: Raymond Turmel vs HMTQ              To the Registry Officer:              We received a copy of a receipt that was sent to the       applicant, Raymond Turmel, dated 8 August 2014. We have also       received a letter from the applicant dated 18 August 2014       stating that he wishes to continue his appeal before the       Supreme Court of Canada.              Before the Supreme Court begins to review the documents from       the applicant, we wish to transmit the following       information:              On August 18th, 2014, the Quebec Provincial Court acquitted       Mr. Turmel of the accusations infile 700-01-118202-137 after       the Crown decided not to present any evidence against the       accused. A copy of the "proces-verbal" has been joined to       the present letter. We are also joining a copy of the       decision from the Court of Appeal that the respondent wishes       to contest.              Mr. Turmel being acquitted, we respectfully submit that it       is useless for the Supreme Court to review his application.       Mr. Turmel is not represented by counsel and may not fully       understand the implication of his acquittal.              We are of the opinion that the application should simply be       rejected and the file closed.              Yours truly,       Maxime Lacoursiere              So Ray sent in this response:              Raymond J. Turmel       6 Des Noisetiers, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, J0V 1B0 Quebec.       Tel: 819-242-9902, Fax: 519-753-5122, Cell: 819-328-6279       Email: rayturmel@yahoo.com              Aug 28 2014              Supreme Court of Canada Registrar       301 Wellington St. Ottawa, ON, K1A 0J1       Tel: 996-8666/9138f              Re: Crown objection dated Aug 22 2014              Dear Registrar:              Though I have been acquitted, the same objectionable       precedents I was subjected to remain: that a Motion to       Amend/Quash may be dismissed       a) for lack of Notice of Constitutional Question and       b) as an issue for only the Trial Judge.              These precedents contradict normal court process and now       threaten me should such situation arise again.              I was improperly harmed by those precedents below. I wish to       bring those irregularities to the court's attention.       _______________________       Raymond Turmel       FAX CC: Attorney General 450-569-3051 Maxime Lacourciere              JCT: So the Crown's headaches go on and we get to find out       if the Supreme Court is going to let these two silly       precedents stand!!! I just want 3 judges signing off that it       seems not important enough to fix.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
