   Radio Lux, Radio CAE, and the hour or two a week that "Auntie" BBC   
   allotted to "pop" music.   
      
   My little Philips tabletop Radio or, later, my huge Philips transistor   
   with all the pushbuttons along the top for the different broadcast   
   bands.   
      
   Winter evenings huddled in my room with the radio on.   
   Couldn't listen in the living room on Dad's Telefunken--"that kind of   
   music will ruin the speakers".   
      
   Can't remember exactly why, but I never listened to Radio Caroline or   
   AFN even though they were both there.
