   Hey Doug, I agree there's nothing like the sound of those old RR Merlin   
   engines. If your parents were like mine, they occasionally complained   
   if the Harvards, Daks, North Stars or whatever flew too close to the   
   house, as the TV reception used to go all fuzzy, almost always at a   
   critical moment in the program. If it stayed fuzzy for too long, I   
   usually had to go outside and tug on the ropes to turn the aerial, while   
   my dad shouted instructions through the window ("a little more to the   
   south -- that's it"). I wonder why he used to send me out to do that   
   when there was a lot of lightning happening!!!!
