We just got back from Preston Chev Olds in downtown Langley. We
attend his viewing of his private collection of WW1 and WW2 hemophilia he
   has
on display for Remembrance day yearly. Each year I take pictures of items
he has on display. On this Remembrance Day our two min. of silence was
   while we were amongst this
   collection....
One picture I have is of boots worn by someone unknown.
   It made me think..

   .who filled these boots
   what steps did they trod
   did they carry him safely
   when he served far abroad
   where his feet kept warm
   in the trenches they sat
the souls of the boots, worn
   from miles that were crossed

   clothing,
   radios
   pictures
   letters
   shells
   duffle bags
   trunks
   boots
   hats
   jeeps
   grooming kits

and many more articles from the Canadian Army , Airforce and Marines.....all
   whispering stories
from those unknown who embraced them for survival
fighting for generations of future Canadians.
